Welcome aboard fellow Ozzie. I grew up in Vic. (North East) then spent 10 years in the Southern capital (inner city) but lately I've been enjoying Qld for the last 7 years. I hope you enjoy yourself here. It's a good forum. I'm strictly analogue/audio so I can't sympathise with your DVD work but I will just mention that I wouldn't talk too loudly about DIY picket fences. That is opening up a very large can of worms. People take life pretty seriously around here and someone certain to ask you how it sounds compared with the old brick one!
