Hi All,
I was thinking about trying some Nichicon KZ capacitors in my Gainclone for decoupling, has anybody else tried these or compaired any other types?
MY current inverted GC spec is
OPA541, tried LM3875 but it oscillated, trying to sort this out
10k input and 220k fb Holco Resistors
1000uf 50v Panasonic FC decoupling caps bypassed with 0.1uf Evox SMR caps
100k Alps blue pot
No coupling caps
Mur860 for Rectifier, with snubbers
Two 24v AC transformers (33v DC)
Positive input straight to ground
Any Idea's what I could try to improve my GC would be much appreciated
Kind Regards,
Leo

aparently (havent tried this) 100k potentiometers cause oscilation, and a 50k one should b better.
also, you could try zeroing the output by connecting the non-inverting input to ground via a ~200k multi turn preset.
