Not sure if the 1200 is the exact module i'm looking for but would be interested in seeing what we could do. What kind of prices are we thinking. Any chance we could get pricing on other modules like the 700 stereo version as well
It’s a very nice amp. Superb build quality. Super powerful though and capable of blowing your speaker’s voice coil across the room if you accidentally hot plug an input. Note that low noise balanced drive preamp is required for operation.
Distortion performance is good but not as low as current state of the art from TI in 350w range. For domestic use, there is rarely a need for 600w into 8ohms.

So what do you think about sound quality. I'm thinking about trying it out on some Maggies. Not sure if will work ok with that kind of high res. speaker. Did you get yours through a group buy.
ICE 1200AS2 specs say
1200W 4Ohms 1 Channel Driven
2 X 600W 8Ohms 700W 4Ohms
I actually have two of them for that 1200W x2 possibility, but paradoxically what I really need currently is a super-clean class D 5-10 watter for my Radian compression drivers.
Some of the latest class D may have better specs, but the sound signature of 1200AS2 is quite good b/c of a nice balance between neutrality and involvement, as some class D misses the latter.

Superb sound quality. Very clean and neutral. Nothing added or taken away. Resolving and yet not harsh or anything. It’s up there with some of the best amps I have heard. The TPA32xx seems to be a bit quieter depending on how you do your PSU. The built in PSU here is excellent but measurements show about -80dB mains peak (not zero). I can highly recommend this amp if you need that kind of serious power.
I did not get it though a GB.

So just wondering why there seems to be no interest in a group buy on this. Is it because it is posted in wrong place? Should it be in Class D forum? If not are there any places to order from in US?
They used to only be available to OEM manufacturers - I'm not sure if that has changed. I was interested until the Purifi modules came out with lower distortion and general availability.
Purifi?? I'm new to Class D and haven't heard of that one. Where can I get more info and pricing.
