Hello!
Is there a modification that can be done to the SSHV2 regulator so that you can have an output voltage range between - let say - 50 to 100V, or is the only solution to add an anode choke after the regulator?
Regards,
Vidar

Smaller value for the two 68k resistors. About 1/3.

Great! Thank you. Can't wait for the boards to arrive...
Update:
The boards are delayed in shipment to me. I was expecting them to arrive today - but there was an error in the thickness on a couple of the boards. So I expect about 7 more 'working days' before all the boards arrive.
Sorry for the delay.

OKAY IMPORTANT MESSAGE
It appears likely that I shipped out ~78 2SK117GR's that are of sub-par performance.
Salas and I have tested them and they don't measure exact, but work.
On the scale of the GB, this is a small amount.
All the sub-par units are marked with 2SK117 GR OK.
This will be an eye sight test.
Please inspect your 2SK117GR's for the digits on the flat part of the top.
If you have these units, private message me, and I will replace them as soon as possible.
These are likely only in your BIB mini kits, and if you bought something else, it is not likely but possible. Let me know.
I apologize for this problem, and will take care of it.

Hi Tea-Bag, is it too late to order these PCBs or Partial Kits?
If any availability, can you point me in the right direction for lists of what is available, pricing and payment options.
Many Thanks

Aug, there are no boards left. No full kits left.
There are a few mini kits of transistors and resistors left.
I can sign you up on list for next Gb.

Hi Tea, shucks, missed the boat again.
What sort of timescale for next shipments?
Minikits, what's included?

Hi TeaBag thanks for reply, I think I'll have to put one together on prototype board for now, I'll keep an eye on the thread for further developments.
Many Thanks

Hi TeaBag, me again.
I'm thinking of buying a full kit as listed in your previous reply for my prototype build, but I'm having a bit of difficulty
tying up the relevant up to date scematic to match your parts list.
Please can you point me to the relevant page ?

Hi dear friend,
I intend to implement in point-point approach the actual Salas SSHV2. It would be very helpfull if I could see photos or schematics of actual boards pcb layout (the two sides of them), please. Let me know if it's possible, I would try two such SSHV2 for my AR SP8 preamplifier clone, please.
Thank you and have a nice day!
Warm regards,
Ion

Hello!
Is there any sonic advantages in changing the SCR capacitors with traditionally better oil or teflon capacitors on the SSHV2?

Vidar

Its a topic for the build threads. In short C2 as a Vref filter exerts some influence. But don't experiment with oversized component that adds too much inductance.
