Dear all,
I have sold 3 Version 3 PCB's with my Option 3 build and now have only SMD parts for one more Quasimodo.
After that last one has been sold, I will not build any more boards.
Enjoy!

I just received another order for my V3 build of the SMD Quasimodo.
I have no more parts left so this is the end of this special group ordering project.
Enjoy!

What is the difference between the V3 And V4? Does the V3 require SMD devices to be soldered onto the board?
It will help you a lot to study the Quasimodo V3 Bill Of Materials. It is attached to post #1 of the Quasimodo discussion thread, on diyAudio.
If I have read post #144 correctly, it appears the correct way to order a blank Quasimodo V3 board is to send a Private Message to diyAudio member Nikon1975 . Try that.
Yes, v3 is smd, v4 is th. Both are very easy to assemble.

unfortunately I'm a late comer to "snubbing" technology and according group buys.
I would like to ask which chance I would have to procure an assembled, working V3 board or a V4, either assembled, working, used or unused or a blank V4 board, anywhere (in Europe). Quasimodo or Cheapomodo are both OK for me.
Thanks for offers by PM or by giving hints here where to look for boards.
Regards,
Winfried
PM to diyAudio member dsolodov , may reveal one or more members who have an extra thru-hole kit of all parts and are willing to sell.
I recently saw that European company MPAudio is talking about V4 quasimodo pcbs, they call it an "accessory". But of course you would prefer to buy from this GB to aid Planet10.

Definitely, If there is another, sign me up.
Hi Mark,
thanks for the reply and the advice. I have written to dsolodo, hoping to get my hands on something "working" which I'd prefer. But having the V4-PCB offer at MP AudioPCB is OK as a fall back.
Thanks again,
Winfried
