Sorry to inform you about this..

I got this JFET's with the "ugly" pin, but its okay! I will selected the best what i can get, this old stocks and not kept with properly safe , hope this ok to all of us 😉

I do not understand what you want to tell us with your posting.
What is an "ugly" pin? 😕
Do you mean pin 4, the substrate pin? What's ugly about it?

I suspect what A'af was saying was that the pins showed corrosion due to improper storage.

I really don't hope so. What consequences would that have on the Fet's. I could fear their ligetime will be limited in that case 😕

I think not, may be it is just a layer of dirt, or a thicker than usual oxidized layer. Most likely a little rubbing with sand paper is all that is needed to restore back to like-new condition.

But think about 2000 x 7 pins to clean

Not that extreme but this old craks need and must have a littlte trim on their pin, like menicure and pedicure to human!
