Hi everybody!
Does anyone have a copy of the Zero-100SB service manual? I would be happy to pay for a copy or for a good scan.
I hope the manual could help me to understand why the arm lift mechanism lacks any smoothness. I imagine some kind of damping fluid should be put somewhere, since my turnable works more or less this way since 1976...
Thanks very much in advance to anyone will help me.
Massimo 🙂

Sorry for saying it so late, but maybe the service manuals for the older models (Zero-100 and Zero-100C) could serve the purpose as well.

There is manual of Garrard Zero 100 in the Vinyl Engine (http://www.nakedresource.com/news.shtml)
You'll need to register first in order to download it - It can be found on the forums in the turntable manuals section.

Thanks, but...
Hi Reko,
thanks for your reply!
The manual you mentioned seems to be the "user manual" and not the "service manual" I need...
Thanks anyway and best regards!

Re: Thanks, but...
You could try asking in the forums there for the service manual or instructions for repairing your armlift. There are many people with good knowledge of repairing/servicing older turntables active in those forums.

Zero 100 service
As it happens, I was looking for information on my J. Sugden 1950's transcription turntable today and came accross a service sheet for the Zero 100 plus all the original stuff that came with my own zero 100 (idler wheel version).
My zero 100 is long overdue a service, so I pulled it all out!
It's not a Garrard, but a Trader's service sheet that is several pages long, so it can be scanned easy enough; let me know if you want a copy.......

Hi Connoisseur,
thanks for your very kind offer! In the meanwhile, i found a scan of the Zero-100 (non SB) service manual and a photocopy of a very short document containing an exploded view of the Zero-100SB.
Both documents say nothing about refilling the damping fluid, but also give some hint about where the fluid could be. I couldn't study this stuff yet, but I'll do that asap.
Does your document provide any detail about the damping issue?
Thanks once again and best regards.
