Hi:
I would like to buy a brand new MB150S or MB150E but not sure if this conversion is possible or not in new units sold by Amazon (there is a post in this forum with schematics showing a multitap transformer for 100V,120V and 230V , but this schematic is from 2003 and probably outdated by now)
I would appreciate A LOT if someone can get this info an jumper settings if possible !!
Thanks Guys , very good forum...

A conversion should be fairly easy. If there are primary windings for 230 VAC.
It is only question of doing it right.

I was checking the MB-115 trying to find a solution for power protection and found that the power amp board has a jumper to switch between 115v-230V, you should check if it has one...
The old EI transformer ones had dual voltage primaries, and the SMPS ones had a jumper to select straight bridge rectifying (230V) or doubling (115V), same as in standard PC supplies.
But download the User Manual and check, or ask *them*, they *might* have saved a couple U$ in the new China made ones and skimped on that, although I consider it quite unlikely, "savings" would be peanuts and would force them to manufacture 2 different supplies , bad deal.
