From the price i saw probably cheap 1”? (¾”?) with a custom bezel. Can you pull one and take pictures?

And yet more evidence why using foam to refurbish speakers is very silly.
Rubber is a much better alternative for surrounds if repairing , that is
if the original cloth types, like original AR's cannot be found. It lowers
compliance even further. Now whilst not to the exact recipe Edgar Villchur
proposed as it has perhaps too much air tightness in a cabinet , It is high
time some one started doing cloth again.
As for tweeters, the best I have heard the 401's is with Polk SL2000
-what a tweeter to match with Gales other drivers 🙂.
Anything with a transducer is expensive in Australia - even taking bulk shipping rates and taxes into account, speakers are about 40% more expensive than the US
