Whoops, I forgot this part:
😀 "I am not affiliated with DIYCable" 😀
So Joster, you would have to order them through the DIYCable website. 😉

Hi All, I apologize for the delay and slow response.
I just started a new job and I am quite busy trying to make my good first impression.
Please bear with me for the next few days and I will catch up on the weekend.
Here is the chassis and what comes with the purchase.
Thanks again,
Troy

Hi-
Well I can have an unlimited # made, but I would have to source a different heat sink. These heat sinks were donated by Steve@Apex.jr just for us GCer's which contributed to the low'ish price.
If there is still an interest after these are gone, I can have some more made with either 1/4" side panels(since the GC's don't require much cooling) or I can move to a 1/2" or 3/4" heat sink that is commercially available.
I would also drop from the 1/2" front panel to a 3/8" front panel since 1/2" is too thick to mount some switches in, and it would make pot and input switch drilling much easier.
Please post here if there is any interest in new chassis. I will then consult my great guru of CNC machining, Henry!
Thanks again,
Troy
PS, 5-7 people have requested chassis, but only 3 chassis have been paid for.

Hi,
Very interested in your chassis. Any left? I'll take one if there's one left.
How much did the total cost come to?
Very interested. I'm PMing you, as well.
Best,
KT

Hi All-
The chassis is $90. Shipping is "around" $10 anywhere in the US.
If there is any change from shipping I will put it in the package with the chassis.
Paypal account: stgrab@yahoo.com
My zip is 75070 so you can check shipping rates online. I was going with FedEx ground because they are cheaper from my home, and generally 3 days anywhere CONUS.
I have now had significant requests, but only 4 chassis have been purchased.
I've got my wife packing and shipping them this week (hey, she doesn't work so I figure I need to make her do something). Please don't tell her I said that or the kits are the only thing I will be playing with 🙂. Doah! Did I say that out loud?
Anyway, it's late and I finished work for today so I'm going home.
Thanks again,
Troy

I'm still interested. If you have any available, please PM me and I'll transfer the funds.. I just don't want to send the money if you're sold out 😀
LAST ONE!!!
Hi All-
7 chassis' have been purchased which means.........
Only 1 chassis left!!
I will ship them all this week and forward tracking #'s by Friday(hopefully, work has been busy).
I will make the donation to the forum on Monday. That is what makes this project worthwhile to me.. And since I am working again, I will be donating $10 per chassis to the forum not the $5 I had originally stated.
I hope to make another chassis soon, but this one will be tiny and sit vertically next to my PC monitor with a volume control. External pwr supply, and possibly a PA-100(parallel LM3886's) on a sub.
I need to finish my desktop line arrays using four 2" drivers and the Apex.jr ribbons first.
Thanks again,
Troy

Chassis shipment update
Hi all-
I did the assembly of the chassis this weekend to ensure no one would have any issues and I'm glad I did.
When the heat sinks were anodized, some crud stuck to the threads of the holes so I went through and ran a threading bit in the holes.
The screws that hold the chassis together are Aluminum so I didn't want any un needed stress on them.
I will have my wife continue to check them and then pack and ship this week.
Sorry for the delay but I have to send out a good product,
Troy

Finished tapping!!
Hi All-
Just an update on the shipment of the chassis.
I have been getting up a 5 AM everyday this week to HAND tap(faimily sleeping so no drill allowed) the holes again to ensure the screws thread in smoothly.
I finished the last couple of heat sinks today and seperated everything for the complete kits.
I will try to box each chassis today and ship out while in Chgo this weekend but if for some reason I can't they should go out on Tuesday.
Thanks again and sorry for the delay on getting them out. Work is going to be the death of me..

Hi All-
The chassis are pack, labeled and loaded in my car.
I will drop them off at FedEx on my way to work.
I am VERY sorry for the delay, but work has been keeping me busy and away from home.
I will send out the tracking #'s tomorrow after they are actually at the carriers’ office.
Thanks again and VERY sorry for the delay. If any of you would like a Teflon disc to mount the X-former on please let me know so I can send it out next week.
The reason I got the disks was to sandwich between multiple torids in a 6-channel amp. Quite a few more were in the package than I needed.
