I see your point wg_ski, but peak g2 currents alternate in very uneven magnitude.
If idle Ig2 is 3mA than minimum value would be around half od that, but maximum value can go up to 100mA.
So, min Ig2 of one valve wont compensate for max Ig2 of other valve. Not even close, and they will "combine" to almost full extend.Voltage drop on common Rg2 must be taken into account.Even if its unbaypassed.
