No, the 807 are in pure tetrode mode 550V anode, 300V on the grid and no NFB.
300V also for input and driver.

HI danco. vim how have you found the Toroidy out put transformers?
How much feedback? did you do Sq wave tests?
Thanks Phil

Hi. I bought them directly from toroidy. You can go on their site, there's also english, and ask for the shipping rate, next you can order and pay with credit card. I've got mine in 10 working days.
The amp is a pure tetrode mode, fully balanced (that means no phase splitter, signal came in balanced mode directly from the lundahl input transformer), and there is no nfb at all. The gain is 24 dB and the output transformer is 8k a-a.
Square wave at 1kHz is almost perfect, and also 10kHz works very well. Unfortunately I don't have photos.

HI Danilo
Thanks
I too bought some "Toroidy" 2 for KT88 ultra linear and 2 for 811a's so far i have only made one amp for 811A's. I too have not used a lot of feedback 6Db The Sq waves are good at 1K and 2.5K also ok at 10k To my mind you get better sound than with lots of feedback and my speakers are highly damped so no boom.
Phil
Thanks

I'm rather fascinated by this design, Danilo. It could be just what I'm looking for to drive my old Ariels. I also have a pair of monobloc chassis that I think could work with this. Do you have a schematic you can share?
Cheers
Phil
