I have a First Watt F4 clone and wish to convert to dual mono.
My current IEC connector has dual fuses - one for live and one for neutral.
I want separate fusing for each amplifier.
Should I put higher current fuses in the IEC connector and add two fuse-holders with correct fusing in them for each amp?
I felt sure this would have been discussed on here previously but can't find anything.
Second question - is it worth changing my IEC mains connector for one with built in filter. I have one on my Paradise phono amp but is it likely to be advantageous on a power amp?
Thanks

put nails in place of fuses in IEC , then mount separate fuse (holder) for each tranny
I don't like mains filters in power amps .... but have no any significant measurement to cover that
though - it's cheaper not liking them
