thats a very strange and general set of recommendations youve made there afk. windows system volume shouldnt even be part of the equation, it should be bypassed entirely; thus full, but surely the rest depends entirely on the gain structure
remain true
Subconsciously, BCarso had been talking me into them for many weeks, months.
A transparent condom appeal was the remaining factor to draw my wallet across the edge.
Conclusion is that I'm a total fashion bitch, subjective as H.
(and very dissapointed that the available range of purifiers is limited to a single Non-matching version)
thanks SY, that thing has been running in the background of my mind but never took the trouble to google it.Easy to do with something like Goldwave, then ABX with foobar. In some cases, the added noise could even be beneficial. But do consider trying Bill Waslo's superb demonstration ("Listener Challenge"):
Audio DiffMaker example files
If you want help with noise added to files, let me know. I can do it quickly, or show you how to.
I love the idea of comparing Hi-Fi's on YouTube. It's akin to wrapping a towel round your head. Even if you use the poor output of your soundcard to drive your multi-thousand pound stereo it will only be as good as the crap microphone and the compressing of the internet and your soundcard will allow.
thanks. adding noise is something I can do. one interesting thing would be to add modulated noise based on auditory masking. uh-oh, that would be mp3.If you want help with noise added to files, let me know. I can do it quickly, or show you how to.

upsss, sorry but foobar add noise and distortion while windows gives an equalized signal delivered to the amp, so less in foobar and full or EQ in windows affects it, in my case i use a mixer as preamp at full output with EQ
Subconsciously
Of course!
I should have mentioned that.
When I first saw this set at a megastore and I read the brand tag, Brad came into my mind.
The bass unit is of acoustical passband type, the satellites lean toward Don Keele idea (I don’t know if they have staggered attenuation/delay too). The plastic enclosures are of a low acoustic signature (well damped and smoothly curved).
Among the few items in a Fighter’s pilot survival kit, there is a condom.

by using the windows volume, you are automatically ruining bitperfect output, if foobar is adding noise, ditch foobar and use something that doesnt. but it actually sounds to me by what you describe, that foobar is the one adding less distortion … you do know that turning the volume up doesnt actually amplify anything and a test of a digital volume control's performance is how transparently it performs at low volume yes?
honestly this sounds more like a problem in implementation than anything else …

interesting, a recipe for noise and possibly distortion gives the best sound. as audiophile as it gets.for everybody to avoid noise and distorsion the better is foobar low as possible, windows full high and amp high as you think, at high levels the noise and distosrion it's not an issue and enjoy full capacity

I thought it was a HelmPlastic resonator with an inverted resonance pipe.

Condoms are highly versatile items, imo, and good for moral.

how about a/c or fan noise, in these warm daysWhat about the acoustic noise from power supplies? I think that if we're in the realms of worrying about noise at levels of -90dB, the acoustic fizzing and humming that comes from different types of power supply in the same room will swamp it.
If you're Cpt. Zissou, that would make me Klaus "Pano" DaimlerThere was a time when I wanted to study oceanography and become Capitaine Jacco Zissou )

No Go, only inferior actors are allowed, I have minor inferiority issues.

Helmplastic stands for Plastic Helmet, btw
