I could not find the article................buried somewhere.
I have not seen the circuit used in any commercial design and JLH has not publised a full design using it. The idea should lend itself well to a balanced bridged design.

You need something for either version. You could have the output of a servo
driving the current source of the JFETs. A similar concept is found on the
THS4131 symmetric gain stage.
Alternatively you can load the output to ground and put adjustments in the
circuit for exactly establishing a balance point (hoping that it doesn't drift much).
