some may have seen already. but i noticed i never posted the end result of my planar magnetic project.
my first full range and im rather pleased, so pleased i might want to persue it commercially, since magnepans are rather expensive over here. and i like doing it 🙂 and it think it is alot of bang for buck
response 52Hz -17Khz ~ still want to increase the high end a bit in a next design. but hell 🙂 efficiency around 84 dB same as an smga from magnepan.
Response and distortion measured at listen position, 1.5 meter from the speaker. the THD its shows is @ 1Khz
here is a playlist with all stuff related to these speakers i recorded during the time. i made everything from scratch. except for the 2 filter parts and terminals 😉
