Looking for ideas on near fullrange BookShelf Size Speaker I have Peerless XLS 10 pair and confused what to do to cover mid Highs wither a 3" FullRange like Peerless TC9 or a SB acoustic SB12PACR25-4 Coax. I dont feel like making seperate midrange and tweeter to keep box size down and simple looks. Either you call it FAST or a Coax and Sub. Have miniDSP 2x4HD and hypex 500 watts amps so amp power is not an issue
I always liked the SEAS KingRO4Y kit but I dont have the budget for seas drivers. I am 51 yeasr old so cannot hear anything above 13k so if i miss the highs high its ok. Music I listen EDm and pop rock
cheers

Hmm, you got me curious, so looking up some prosound info it looks like you ideally need 'flat' to 20 Hz for EDM, so covers pop rock and then some, yet 'Dubstep' has a very interesting response that requires significant EQ, so have to accept lower peak SPL than other genres and/or need more power/dynamic headroom. Based on this, whichever driver combo yields the most (undistorted) peak SPL would be my choice/recommendation.
