Looks like the sediment screen from a kitchen/bath faucet aerator, a common everyday plumbing item. Or the sediment screen in the input of a solenoid water valve used in an appliance appliance such as a washing machine or dishwasher.
Very similar but these newer ones are slightly smaller, 4 ohms instead of 8 ohms and shielded too.
I salvaged them from a PIONEER mini/micro bookshelf system, the CD player and the logic died. I threw it all way but kept the loudspeakers. They were originally mounted in plain unlined reflex boxes, and didn't sound very good. But I could tell that it was the enclosure implementation and not the drivers that were at fault.
I'm building some better enclosures for them. kind of like TABAQs but slightly larger.

those v.1 sound like the best of Tang Band 3" and Mark Audio Alpair6, but with HF energy of them both together, outstanding Drivers, and Flat II- I dont dare to try yet 😀
