I would like to build a full range single driver speaker. i want to spend a very low amount of money on this as well. preferably under 100 dollars for a pair of drivers. can someone suggest a nice pair and a nice box design? I was looking into a rear loaded bass horn, i like my bass.
Thanks

There is a good selection of Fostex.
You will find that none of these go really low, and unless you can accomodate a REALLY LARGE horn 60-80 Hz is as low as you will get... quality can be awesome thou.
FE103 in a Bucshorn II... FE126....

For a hundred dollars a pair it does seem like you will have trouble getting a high quality driver that is also able to pump out the bass. If you really want your bass I would go for this one:

Something like the fostex 126 would definatly be quality, but may or may not meet you bass needs.

Another driver to consider is Monacor SP-200X

Suggested box design is something like this:

(and the tweeter is not necessary, BTW)
