Hi all. I just put together a nice computer for myself in my man cave and I would like to build a couple of computer speakers to be used with a Gain Clone and a yet to be identified subwoofer. I would like to start off with these two items:

How do I turn these into a pair of transmission line computer speakers? Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Hmm, a T/S max flat alignment is only ~4.135 L/77.3 Hz Fb, so assuming a 1.0 L loss for the driver and a divider baffle, then at ~9.76 L net, Fb drops to ~58 Hz, meaning the XO will have to do all the driver protecting plus the stuffing density required may 'suck the life' out of the driver's mids/lower HF. Better to find a driver with specs that ~fills up the box.

G,
Is cabinet size an issue? If not, try
http://www.zillaspeak.com/bib-howtobuild.asp
and download his spreadsheet for a pair of BIBs.
I built a pair for an old set of full range speakers I had and am quite pleased.

maybe either of those could help you somehow. I am not sure what the placement for either of those designs are, but both interested me enough to bookmark them on my laptop😀

There's a TL design posted in the CHR-70 thread, but I don't think any has actually built it. At 54cm tall, it may be too tall although the driver should be placed at about 20% down the line.
My CHR70 dual-chamber design is also in that thread. I use them for my computer system. The driver doesn't require any filters and I love the way they sound.
