OK here we go!
I bought a Fujix P701 new back in the 90's. I just recently plugged it in after not having used it in 10 or more years. Only to find that the lcd is shot. My questions to the forum are this.......
1) Is it possible to replace the lcd?
2) Can it be upgraded to a higher resolution wide screen format?
3) Where can I buy a replacement lcd?
4) How much will it cost?
5) Or should I gut it and use the case and optics engine to build my own from scratch?
Some info about the lcd......
It is 1" and about 89,000 pixels.
I'm going to use it for my kids video game systems and maybe some movies if the image is clear enough. Maybe even a small surround sound system.
