when i talked about my 2225H i was refering to the bare speaker only by itself, not the xover, and how acurate it is about its TSp even if it is a 40 year old speaker...i know that this very speaker was beaten up to hell in a bar in the 80's and 90's....it looks like new and still wear its hand writen date code on the cone (1983)...today the 2226H/J, its better brother, is still manufactured. thats is enough to scrare Goldwoods in all its variant imho. iam not arguing old speakers are better, but thoses old pro comp JBL are still hard to beat in terms of quality, accuracy and durability.
