This is a ready-to-run board featuring the Texas Instruments C6211 150MHz, 1200 MIP fixed-point digital signal processor.

The debugging tools in this package are very robust with profiling and CPU utilization capabilities. There is Dolby Digital code written for this IC, so it definitely has some strong digital audio capabilities, if also some limitations due to the fixed-point architecture.
