These are the SEAS Thor speakers designed by Joe D'Appolito. SEAS's*top-of-the-line loudspeaker kit.*A transmission line MTM design. Built in a "fat" cabinet with a volume of about 100 liters for greater bass extension. Crossovers are in separate black aluminum boxes and use high end components: Goertz foil air inductors, Mundorf caps, and high end resistors. Neutral and very detailed presentation with great bass depth and slam.
The cabinet is very well built with extensive bracing (see construction picture) and recessed drivers. Finish consists of 6 coats of shellac primer and 3 coats of white satin paint. It can be easily painted with a different color... There are a few dents in the paint, nothing too obvious, but the cabinets could use a fresh coat.
Feet shown in the pictures are not included. But I will include 2 platforms built for these cabinets that raise the speakers a few inches to clear the down firing port.
Here are the specs for the Thor:
Frequency Range: 40 to 25,000Hz (Gradual low frequency roll off)
Short Term Max Power: 400W
Long Term Max Power: 200W
Crossover Frequency: 2500Hz
Impedance: 4 ohm
Recommended Amplifier: 50 to 400W
Cabinet Type: Transmission Line (Thor)
Dimensions: 45.5" T x 9" W x 14.25" D**(Regular Thor)
Local pick up only for the cabinets. I'm willing to drive up to 50 miles from zip code 07003 to deliver them.
The parts are identical for the Thor kit (transmition line) and Odin MK3 kit (ported). If you're only interested in the parts, I can ship them everywhere.

Gave it a new link, but it didn't fix the problem... If you click on the missing picture icon, you should be able to see it.
Or you can try my Audiogon ad.

If you lived nearby I would pick them tomorrow. What did you end up upgrading to?
