Hi, you say you have tested them. What is the minimum impedance on these and where? I would love ot go ahead with them but the 4 ohm version will make the speaker hard to drive so need to check carefully.
Hi Mario,
measured impedances of both samples are in attachment. For the lowest impedance I can check later. What I remember from measurements and crossover modelling (also with measured FR), it was possible to stay above 3ohms, which should be completely ok for any decent 4ohm capable amplifier.
For crossover closer to 200Hz it took some effort to keep impedance above 3ohms (with primary coil Rdc ~0.3ohms + RLC). For crossover around 400Hz impedance was ~3.5ohms.
I can provide you with LIM and FRD files.

Problem is, I already got the mids and tweeter and they`re both 4 ohm. Mid will be padded so can make up some of the R but...Planned crossover with the original woofer was at 300hz, this one, even if we add let`s say a 1R for the coil on the woofer and some DCR for the midwoofer inductor, would push it too low. My problem with these in general.
Yes, but that will put a heavy load on the amp, especially if phase is capacitive there. i`m not entirely sure I want this woofer, to be honest. Good luck, if I change my mind - will let you know.
Cheers,
Mario

Hi Pida
I like your website.
Sorry to highjack/resurrect this old thread.
What did you think avout the wo24p-4 and (which) satori mid?
I am thinking avout doing a 3-way with the following:
2x wo24p8. + mr16p-4. + tw29r on WG. Still unsure avout tweeter.
Do you have any suggestion on this design as you trued satori woofer/mid on your end?
Any advice on best tweeter to use in waveguide?
