Any of the Plitrons still available? I sent a PM a few days ago, but perhaps you haven't seen it.
Thanks
Nigel
Thanks

I never heard back from Brian regarding the(4) AN4222 I wanted.
Sent a follow up PM…no response.
Not sure why

Maybe he sold out and hasn't been on since. Probably busy or something.
I could really use one of those Plitrons for a project I have coming up.

Not sure…he told me I was first in line and would look into boxing and shipping them for me.
I waited a couple of weeks…sent another PM…never heard anything.

I was thinking something of the Aleph variety…a Aleph 30 maybe?…a pair of dual mono amps.
I’ve collected some of the more recent Aleph UMS kits with matched transistors and could go up to an Aleph 60 or Aleph 2…but they’re asking for 24+24 and 35+35 secondaries.
I also have some F5T kits.
I figured at this price I could make something work.

Sure. Why not. I'm building a pair of Aleph 2's for a friend right now using Randy's UMS kit. My friend is going to be powering some large panel speakers with them.
I have one done and biased up. Starting the second one tonight 🙂 👍
I plugged the single one in and got a good impression of it right off the bat. I think it's going to be a nice amp.
I've got some neat vintage Mark Levinson style heat sinks which would be kind of fun to build an LF30/40 with. Although the output stage would have to be point to point. It's on the list. Lol

The AN-4222 is perfect for a stereo (or even multi-channel) LM3886 amp.

Yup…I built one of Peter Daniel’s LM3875 kits into an integrated amp for the bedroom with a smaller surplus 22+22 transformer I got from Apex Jr as my first amp project.
Sorry folks. I took a little hiatus that lasted a little longer than planned. I am back now, and have sent PM replies to those who expressed interest.
