For sale is a Nagatron Z Coupler Step-up transformer for MC Cartridges.
Gain is 100x (40dB) so ideal for even the lowest output MCs.
The Nagatron shows a striking resemblance with the Kondo-Audionote transformer which sells for thousands of Dollars.... See the last picture.
Asking Euro 400. Will ship WW.

The Ag 9200 impedance and level matching device is intended for use between the output of a Moving Coil Cartridge and the magnetic phono input of your preamplifier or receiver. It will provide 40dB of gain which is equivalent to a voltage gain ratio of 1:100 and can be used with MC phono cartridges of anywhere from 3 ohms to 5 ohms impedance and magnetic phono inputs of anywhere from 33,000 ohms to 100,000 ohms input impedance. The input and output terminals are clearly marked and accommodate conventional RCA phono jacks.

Features:
- Balanced Line Input (professional applications)Where balanced line is used, the ground terminal post at the rear of the Z Coupler should not be used.
- Unbalanced Line Installations -Most hi fi components utilize an unbalanced line hook-up. The Selector Switch should be in the unbalanced position. The ground post on the rear panel of the Z Coupler is used to connect two independent ground leads, one to the chassis of the preamp, the other to the chassis of the turntable. Connect the left and right channel phono leads from the turntable to the input terminals of the Z Coupler; the output terminals are connected to the magnetic phono input terminals on your preamplifier or receiver. You will note that the right channel connectors are coded with red plastic rings visible just inside the back plate.
- Pure Silver Windings The Ag 9200 utilizes chemically pure silver windings which are capable of achieving significantly lower noise levels than conventional conductive materials.
- Minimum Phase Lag This unit, because of its extremely short magnetic circuit and the use of special formulated magnetic core materials, is capable of maintaining a high order of phase coherence.
- Technical Specifications:
