hey, lookin to get rid of some of my home theater computer parts. picked up an xbox, so that will be taking its place. i'm willing to sell in parts or the whole thing. lemme know, adorefreak@hotmail.com

-Via Epia 800 Mini-ITX motherboard w/ integrated 800 mhz via processor (built in network card, soundcard, digital audio out, video/s-video out, vga out, 13cm x 13cm in size)
-256 mb PC133 ram
-ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon video card
-Micro-ATX case

will sell motherboard and ram together for $120/BO, add the case for another $20/BO, everything for $150USD/BO

i need to get this stuff outta here, pictures of everything available by request. setup looks very nice with the rest of your entertainment center.

here's a few pic of the setup. note: the dvd-rom is not being sold (need it for another pc) and i would rather not sell the hard drive (due to it being a bit on the older side)

it seems there are quite a few people interested in this stuff. i do kinda need to get it all outta here (need the money after dumping quite a bit in my present x-box media center project), so as mean as it may come off (sorry to those who i've already talked to), first come, first serve.

I did one of those Xbox Media Player mods, myself, but I'm not happy with the compatibility with many of the DivX😉 videos. Also, a lot of VCDs either stutter or play with weird audio (everything sounds slow and monsterish). I don't care about DivX being able to play, but I don't know why it doesn't play VCDs correctly. They are compliant.

Would you happen to know how to connect the Xbox to VGA without buying one of those Xbox VGA boxes? I'm sure there's a way, cause they do sell a component video cable for it, and VGA is almost the same as component, it just has an extra sync connection... or is it two extra sync connections, I forget.

btw, I ended up having enough money for bus fare until my next paycheck, so someone else should jump on this deal quick, htpc's are nice.

yeah, i'll be throwing in the input cable (svideo, video, audio) and the output cable (svideo, video, coax digital audio out, maybe something else i forgot). and if i can find the driver cd, i'll also toss that in, although it would be better to use more up to date ones.

i never recieved a remote (bought the card barebones off ebay and found a site that had the cables pretty cheap) but there a few simple (under $5) schematics to make an ir reciever for the epia boards. i think i may have the driver cd, but it does not have the dvd program on it.
