FS: Croft Series 5 amplifiers

Pair of these classic and highly-regarded stereo valve amplifiers, designed and built by Glenn Croft. Parallel push-pull EL84 output stages, with valve-regulated HT supplies, giving 25-30W into 8 ohms. S/N 128 and 142. Great for bi-amping.

I have replaced all electrolytic capacitors with new parts, and installed brand new GE 6080 regulator valves in each, both on Glenn’s recommendation. Note that these have the original input connectors replaced with PTFE-insulated gold-plated sockets, as on Glenn’s more recent designs, and some resistors are upgraded to Holco precision parts. Fully working and in very good condition, apart from some signs of rust on transformers.

£350 per amplifier, or £550 for the pair; collect from Southampton, UK only. I can demonstrate if required.
