FS: Accurate Instruments Tube Tester

Selling my Accurate Instruments Model 257 tube tester. Very clean condition and works on every tube I've tried it on. I've never tried to use the cords with additional sockets/clips - probably for less common tubes. Has built in tube straighteners as well! A few dings on the case, but no corrosion on the metal parts. Comes with original manual and supplement sheet for testing additional tubes.

Pics show unit itself, additional cords/sockets, pilot light on, as well as testing of a 12AX7 tube showing the needle in the good region.

This is an emissions tester and wouldn't really be used for accurately matching tubes. This is more of a good/no good tester that also tests for shorts.

It's nice in that it's fairly compact and a good sanity check to make sure a tube is good and not shorted vs putting it into your gear untested and risking damage to your equipment. Size of the tester case itself is about 14" x 9" x 4" and it weighs about 6lbs.

Asking $70 plus actual shipping.
