I bought 5 of these, because I wanted to get a few extra in case a screwed up. Turns out, the design was very easy to workwith, and I didnt rip any ribbon cables or anything. I have 4 of these for sale.

It has composite input, Svideo input and audio too. The screen is VERY sharp. And it dissambles really easily.
I will let these go at 90$ shipped. I may be negotiable, so shoot me an email or something

from my best estimation, the resolution seems to be around 640x480. My friend has a 352x88 5", and mine is way way way sharper, clearer, and higher resolution looking. But I have no factual info on that, unfortunatly.
As for the contrast ratio, I have no clue...

hmm
Do you have pics of the screen on? some example pics of its great quality? I noticed it was a ps1 screen and they have been said to suck for this use on this board. BUT I did see the Svideo port so the quality might be great.

I have to go out for a dinner tonight but when I get back, I will snap some pics for you guys.
Thanks for the interest.
And yes, this is not your normal ps1 screen, it has svideo, and I have watched a couple DVDs on it.

No offense there...that price is quite high for an "unknown resolution" without a VGA in its pretty worthless and the equivalent of a good svideo or rca unit. you can buy a 5.6 lcd on ebay for that money.
I really don't expect a 5" LCD to be any better than 400x234... maybe 600x234, but that's all I've ever found. Anything approaching native VGA or better resolution would be more expensive and they really don't exist on the mass market under 7". The 7" Xenarcs are 800x480 native and don't go for any less than $240 with video-in only -- VGA-in jumps you up to $409.
