Oh, dear Francesco, IMHO €600 expensive for 4 pairs of VFET a bit.
We really have a more satisfying solution to obtain some original VFETs from Nelson Pass now:

I'm not familiar with the TA-88, but if this amp does use feedback then the output transistors may not necessarily be very well matched, while certainly being the same grade.

Just feeling €600 is a lot of money, if the price mentioned at post #6 above is true.

Hi Tim, they are cannibalized from a Sony amp.
The problem is they are used. Checked? That is a clue factor.

This one is a switching class D amp
