Hello all. Due to ongoing project with large gu81m (4 of them)

I have to part with two gems. A lucky find from a Ryazan plant warehouse yielded 2 perfect gm100. Apparently these huge triodes are NOS but without boxes. These are the largest and most beautiful tubes on the market

The filaments test fine at 12.6v

I ask 150 euros each. Buyer pays shipping. Any method of payment is accepted as long as it is secure for both parties (paypal, bank transfer).

Looks like voltage could be why there is not much interest. Best I can tell, not being able to read russian, as you would need 2000-3000volts at 100ma for these. Not for the faint of heart at $300 for the pair.

yes anode voltage can get pretty high...but lower voltage will work too (allbeit with different behaviour). I know a builder should not say this but these tubes are just beautiful to put in a showcase. I am too deep inside my project to revert to the design stage but even a nice lowe power SET could be built around such a tube.

Guys....I got them from the warehouses and tested them for filament power..

Do you have a project schematic you had in mind for these? Is there a tried design built around these already? If so, I would be interested in seeing it....

There is a tried schematic in the gm70 yahoo group forum. The driver i am using for my 2kw amp (search gu81m ab2 thread) should work. As i said i am selling for funds. If i had the possibility i would use the gm100 (financial possibility). Obviously this project is NOT a plug&play style kit. This is diy forum afterall!

I would think that filament breakage in shipping could be an issue?

Old large USA tubes, like the TL/TH450 were packed hung from springs inside a box. FYI.

let him know. Btw i have even bigger Russian radar triode, GI5B
Well maybe filament supply could be tricky,6.3V but just 450A 🙂
