What is the height of loctal socket. I have bought socket here on diyaudio, but if i stick 4p1l inside i can"t pull them out anymore because just few mm of tube is vissible.

aluminum loctal socket depth = 36mm

you probably bought a socket for all metal octal tubes. and only sockets for the glass octal series are suitable for your 4p1l. such as this
