top / bottom fresnels...

I read you guys talking about top/bottom fresnels... what is that?

I received the fresnels from diybuildergroup.com, it's 2 pieces. which is which? are they the same?

Do you guys cut the fresnel from the center (green in the pic) or from the corner (red in the pic)?

This much I do know, you always use the center (green) portion. I'm just looking for good quality fresnels that will work with a lens with a 250mm fl. Should I use the ones that are 320mm ore the 220mm fresnels?😕

I've seen it work with both you'll get a further throw with 320mm fresnel though.

hoho, I can answer your question...
I am using 240mm FL lens, and my fresnel is 200mm fl... so if you are using 250mm FL lens, you can use the 220mm frensnel. BTW, 3Dlens.com has 200mm frensnels, you can use that, I think

Have you bought from them? I tried to order from them and I kept getting a script error. so I have to fax them the order. I was going to pay them with PayPal

No. I didn't buy it directly from there. Chasse here bought it from 3dlens.com.

It no longer matters. I got a better deal on som 200MM from DIY Builder Group 'cause the shipping was cheaper.
