• WARNING: Tube/Valve amplifiers use potentially LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Building, troubleshooting and testing of these amplifiers should only be

the safety precautions around high voltages.

Freq Response of Reactive Load

Protecting an amplifier output is one thing.
Knowing the exact goal, purpose, and intent of the circuit is another.
Better definitions get better answers.

All assumptions aside, a new schematic that includes the input, other changes, and sense/listening connections has not magically appeared.
An accurate and complete schematic is worth 50 Posts, and 1000 words.
Better schematics get better answers.

As to signal sources, there are test CDs.
I have one that includes many signals.
Some are:
White Noise
Pink Noise
Impulse (flat from 100Hz to 22kHz). Try that one on a scope FFT. Quick, Simple, Easy to interpret. Nothing at all like the (FFT?) shot in Post # 1.

I am trying to help.
I am trying to teach.
I know, I am a cantankerous old fart!

Lets get this Gig on the road!

Just my opinions, and my experience.
