Has anyone tried the TMS-1 Audio Test System software . Its a free download at http://www.dazyweblabs.com/shannonsoft/page3.html
Would anyone have tried the ac mains analyser software?
This must be POTENTIALLY LETHAL as you are dealing with mains voltages. NOT AT ALL for beginners !!!!
I've downloaded the software but have not yet installed it.
Cheers.
Ashok.

With an afternoon of wrestling, I got TMS-1 to work on my workshop computer (Wintel, 2.4G, XP). And it works well. Others have had all kinds of problems with it.
Mostly it was a matter of diddling around with all the sound mixer controls that are part of XP. Someone who understands this stuff better than I could probably do it in a few minutes. It was no harder, or different really, than getting Speaker Workshop up and running.
I think my mixer is set up properly since other software work
All I got when I run an amplitude vs frequency test in TMS-1 is a curve like this:
/\/\__/\/\/--\
with 20 dB differences, when in loopback mode!
RMAA and Spectralab work fine

Did you look at the page where he talks about sound cards?

Maybe you can find some useful information there.
