A 6-7" is not enough for bass, you would need four or so even for small scale music.
However, I use Accuton open baffle. SL uses the Excel W21 and I think I can remember that someone uses the Peerless HDS 6.5" also.
These are the one I would look into depending on application, preferences and $$$ :-9

It's not to complement the bass, it's for my bass entirely. Thing is i'm not puttin it in my car, rather my mom's own. I use her car to go certain places as mine is very low. And while i have it i'd like some tune. She doesn't want anything in her trunk, so i figured on using woofers within the ranges of 6" to 7" to run my bass. I'll be placing it in the factory openings available jus behind the rear seat.
