Luckily the one I ruined was a pair of old paper edge Magnavox and cost me whole dollar including boxes, and I still have the boxes, good boxes too, i'll be using them for a small bass driver soon

So i wanted to return these Magnavos to original bright scarlet colour, I mad the mistake os using OVA glue to stiffen the cone then put the alcohol based tint in them instant warp and ruined.
I should have used the tint first; allowed all of the alcohol to evaporate anf THEN coated the drivers ( if that was needed ) all I know is that waroed they sounded absolutely awful and found an instant home in the round filing cabinet

Dust caps come off, phase plugs go in, top end becones much more balanced with better dispersion.
The only B200 that have gotten my full treatment are in the Far East (Singapore, Malaysia? i'd have to dig it out) so i had no long term exposure.

Hi, planet10, I like the look of your phase plugs but so far it is only temptation. Actually the beaming doesn't seem to be the problem, I think now it is just the rising response that I am hearing and a little gentle eq seems to fix that in the preamp. I previously tried the inductor with parallel res in series with the driver, not a good solution IMHO.
What is the other solution?
