I found this old coin on the beach in Goderich Ontario a few years ago, can anyone identify this coin?
Size is about a inch and a half in diameter.
Thanks in advance

Take it to a coin dealer. Now if that were an old speaker, well, we could identify it in a flash.
Try here, excellent site:

Get thee to a coin dealer, asap. Do not let it out of your sight, it may be very valuable. It may not.
Show them the images.
Is it gold?? Looks gold.
You may have found part of a cache. And left without the cache! ha ha!
Looks *very* old...
Please let us know what it turns out to be?

It's got to be worth going back to the same spot on the beach with a metal detector for another look around. Nice find whatever the value!
Do you know how the law applies to "found" valuable artefacts in Canada? This would be worth knowing.
A friend of mine found an almost perfect flint arrowhead whilst digging on her garden allotment recently; only the very tip of the point was missing.
Good luck to you.
