Impedance shelving filter

Last two weeks I ve been studying filters and how they work in order to optimise a pair of backloaded horns with fe 206.

I looked at the shelving filter from Nelson Pass on the previous page in this threat. I think it makes sense to filter the line-signal. However I do have some questions.

Is this filter:
- Suitable for use with backloaded horn?
- For wich impedance is is calculated? (I will put this in front of Beard P35. where impedance (taken from schematic) is set at 680 k )
-Does the output impedance of the source also neede to be taken into account?
(wadia 835 with accoording to specs. 4,5 v out in 15 ohm).

Your help is very much needed and appriciated

- can't help on the active shelving filter. FE206 have an ~2K6 peak. For those only wanting to deal with that peak, I'd suggest listening with a notch filter tuned to that frequency. Look how Q is manipulated
