just rewire PSU in big one to be same as in small one
probably most problematic step would be to obtain same GND bar between caps ...... scrapyards and local metal shops are place for that , if you don't have proper tooling already at home
then crank bias (iteratively) , to have same temp on heatsink as on small one

Ask about convert Model 3 into model 1a
Hi Zen Mod, I have model 3 and I want to convert into model 1A, I have some question
1.After I change the wire of model 3 and taking off the center bar, so the cable that connect to body at center bar must connect to where?
2.For Model 1A re bias, how many mV at resistor emiter?, now for model 3 around 40mV
Thank you

sorry, in this moment I can't recall how that conversion is made
if you have a link to procedure, feel free to share it
if not, we depend on Pa ..... he remembers everything

Hi Zen Mod, thank you for your information, I don't have conversion procedure, I just read from this forum, it said the schema between Model 3 and Model 1A are same, just reconfigure the power supply and re-bias.
Maybe I wrong to summarize what I read, btw thank's for your reply
we are reading same thing and understanding it the same, fact is that I just can't remember how it is done
