Forte 1A conversion to monoblock?

Hi guys,
Long time reader, first time poster... LoL
I have an excellent little Forte 1a amp that I keep around as a spare sense I replaced it with a Threshold SA 3.9e in the main system. BC I can get another one of these Forte amps pretty easy I got to thinking, could you convert this amp to a class A monoblocks?
I've seen some 200wpc class AB stuff get converted to 50wpc class A but I haven't seen a lot of class A stuff get converted to mono's.
I am no EE so the schematic I found for the amp looks like hieroglyphs to me so hopefully one of you smarter gents can look at it & give me your thoughts 😉
Thanks!

I think the front and the output section are all on one board. If you wanted to really go at it, I think you could pull R20 and R21 right before Q14 and Q15 and drive the outputs from that channel off of Q12 and Q13 off of the other channel. But I would wait for a more experienced person to chime in.

Also, you would have to do some rewiring, new bias, check voltages etc. power it up slowly with a variac etc.

I think it would just be simpler to Biamp. 50w is a nice wattage range if you don't have a really hard load. Enough to have some grunt but not so much that hte amp becomes more complicated or uses a lot of energy.

Or if you want to really get into it (it seems as though you like this Stasis stuff) you can build a Stasis amp from scratch using Nelson Pass's new front end. 🙂

Hi guys, sorry for the delay as I lost my log in so had to go through all of that again...

Anyhow thank you Mikerodrig27 for your input. Sounds like the juice probably isn't worth the squeeze for this one. The biamp option was a very good looking idea however my Focals in all of their glory only have a single input. Too bad too as I wanted to make those beryllium tweeters sing even more!

No Tstop, only Mike from above was kind enough to weigh in on it. My main guess is the other members saw what he had to say & agreed with him.

Jon soderberg would probably be a good person to ask. Although he is pretty busy so you may not get a response or at least not quickly.

If you really want to make that beryllium tweeter sing, there are a lot nice little designs that you can build. And honestly, that option is probably More straightforward than converting that amp.
