I was fortunate enough to have been GIVEN a projector and nice pull down screen but I have no idea what the brightness on the projector is. It's an apollog OH AI-1000 and the bulbs are 650w I believe..i forget what kind of bulbs they are....umm...here! i found a link if this helps..

Is this not good enough for projection? I was hoping to use it with a sharp qa-1650 on my projection screen which is only about 50" wide. Any tips on getting the most brightness out of this setup would be much appreciated..
