For those with 3D printers

Oh I know mate. Any claim without evidence can be safely disregarded without evidence. It doesnt actually require an argument.

I was just pointing it out, since he is trying to play victim and convince us hes for real, yet he ignored the only genuine response.

As if you speak for them! LOL!
Erm, it doesnt take a genius to see that those of us, really the only ones replying to your silly thread, are on the same page and you ignored or insulted those that were on your side. Are you put out by me using 'we' here @wiseoldtech and @JMFahey? or have you blocked it already? Not far off myself. This guy appears to be outraged on your behalf ... I dont see it as speaking for you, since you have both made yourselves clear already. My apologies in any case 😉

Its like hes reading from a 'trolling for young and old, you can do it too' or '7 'Logical fallacies for the uninformed' handbook. ALl tHAtz LeFt 1s 4 h1M 2 sTArt TaLk1ng l1K3 Th1s.

Throwing in a bit of antivax sentiment too; could he be any more of a cliche? I'm surprised I havent been called a sheep; but the irony is, I think its him thats lost. @WuBai are you sure you arent lost?

Also, I want to make it clear. I mean same side of the argument. Warring based on subjective/objective viewpoints really isnt getting anyone anywhere, So i'm certainly not singling @analog_sa out as being on a different side. Ive spent my share of energy on that (not specifically), but I have zero issue with someone just doing what makes them happy; regardless of what my own personal flavour of audio affliction is and whether it matches theirs. We are all on the side of good audio and i'm getting older and maybe not as cranky as I used to be 😀. My own views have changed over time, I have spent plenty of money and time on what I now consider to be a bit dubious, but its all personal. I definitely lean more towards a science and measurements focused process for designing and building my gear, but thats me and my journey.

If I thought you were genuine, or perhaps just naive, I wouldnt have entered this, but you cant seriously expect us to believe that; especially given where you started the thread. You are far more transparent than you think you are.

Yeah, Thats why I asked for pictures. You are right though; best just ignore. I had actually signed off, but I wanted to correct the 'us' vs 'them' sentiment, because I dont actually feel that. Like most things, we probably find those of us in diyaudio are more similar than we are different. Even if there are some striking differences.

Just about everywhere on the internet, no matter what venue or flavor, you occasionally get someone of "new membership" status that blasts in, and even before their seat gets warm, starts a controversial subject to rile the established members up, and insists that their beliefs are correct.
Usually, but not always, these types are the young, head-strong stubborn types, the "milennial crowd" on a mission.
Most times, calling them out is a waste of time.
No one's perfect of course. - we're all humans.

I chalk it all up to the lack of "in person" communication due to the internet's own restraints.
Because at my repair shop, and "in person", dealing with customers of that type is much easier to do.

While browsing topics, on any site, the ones I usually ignore are the threads containing hundreds/thousands of replies.
Those to me are worn-out nonsense.

For instance, a topic about a simple issue asking for a simple fix....which should only take a handful or so of replies to resolve...... then why 4,279 posts?
