I am using a Dell Z1100P, runs at about 12.5v / 90amps. I usually have it connected to a regular 600cca AGM battery, then amp to battery, I know it prolly doesn’t matter with it connected in parallel like that but I do anyway, kinda like a car I guess, lol. I got it for about $15, I’m looking into being able to adjust voltage, and running 3-5 in parallel for near 500 amps to test big amps, but don’t know if my rented homes electrical is up to it or what, also looking into a lithium battery bank, LiFePO4 50+ aH. Pretty clean power but I’m a newb so 😅
I should add that i have a ghetto way to make it run proper, after running for about 5 seconds, when LED goes yellow from not having feedback from motherboard, I have to connect the blue cables to give it the “ok to power up” signal, there’s a DIY vid on your tube actually about this specific PSU.

Don't leave the battery connected to the supply when you are not using it. Using a cut-off switch like those used in boats or race cars works well to quickly disconnect.
The electrical service can be an issue but you can use outlets from different circuits to power multiple supplies. My supplies are spread over 3 circuits.
