For Share: Remote Volume Control KIT

Hi Mr. Lu
I have a suggestion that make the text look more professional and tidy at the display.

F.ex.
Volume -48dB
Source CD

instead of
Volume: 48
In_Put: CD

What is the other sources named? I would at least like to have Phono as a choice. I plan to do an integrated amp with inbuilt MM RIAA vinylamp.

Is the display at full bright all the time or is it dimmed when nothing to do for about 10 seconds?

Every one has his whishes but maybe two or three choises of firmware would have been nice. Is it possible for us to change firmware (in an easy way, maybe a bootloader in firmware and a rs232 port) later on?

The more universal and versatile this kit can be, the more success you will find. After I'm finished here you will never ask for any market manager, ever.
😀 😉

According to his posts, it looks like it's got 4 inputs and it costs 60.00 USD shipped.

Hi Lu, The orders are coming in so can you post a list with "items sold or ordered" This way we will know who has got one and how many are still available.

I am looking forward to my new kit!

thank you,

Hoka

Hi Tekko, 4 sources input selectable ^_^

Hi dnewma04, thanks for your answer for me ^_^

Hi hc167 and Datacomsa, this kit is still available, I am waiting for a better remote handset to arrive. Then I can modify the KIT and make a USER MANUAL for you. Take your time ^_^

Hi Radioman62, Many thanks about your advice ^_^ I will test and modify this KIT and make it better in my holidays.

Hi hoka, thanks for your advice too. ^_^

Hi,

Please take in account that a variable impedance is from source a difficulty to drive especialy is tube concept (EX : CD player with tube output).

It would be very nice if we could have some information on this point, a small variation is not a problem but, for instance, if it varies from 10K to 100K, it's a problem

Thanks

Hi, thanks for your advice . When I use R=10K and 2R=20K in this KIT, the input impendence would be 10K to 40K :smash:
Tube output circuits often have a 600 to 5K output impendence, so it is not a problem ^_^

This is coming from a complete electronics newbie but can someone explain what all needs to be purchased aside from what comes with this kit? RCA female connectors/XLR connectors, resistors, etc.

From a DCX2496 user using a receiver for volume control this looks like a great option.

Thank you very much!
