These classic Trusonic 120 CX speakers appear to be in excellent condition. No visible tears or other signs of wear. The cabinets, which were also made by Stephens in the early 60s, are in very good condition. The fabric on one of them has a small hole and the gold Stephens medallion is missing from the other. The wood tops look like new.
Best to pick up in person since these babies are heavy. I'm part of the Tri-state in New Jersey.
Selling the set for $625.

I prefer to see them go with the boxes since they are in such good shape and really have the classic mid-century modern look.
24 inches wide; 28 inches high; 15 inches deep.

at that size it would be considered an LTL load and would cost me almost the same as the purchase price so that makes them too costly for me.
Actually no. I regularly ship pieces that size via USPS priority mail. I use 26x20x20 cartons with plenty of foam. It's not cheap, but so far, so good.at that size it would be considered an LTL load
I just got an offer for the cabinets from a dealer in a nearby town who sells mid-century modern furniture. Oddly enough, he's interested in the cabinets and not what's inside.
That said, I am willing to sell the speakers without the cabs for $500, plus shipping. Hate to see them split, but at least they'll be enjoyed by new owners.
Someone currently has a single Trusonic 120 CX on ebay for $269 with a torn cone. I am offering a set that are in pristine condition.

Sorry to see them split up as they are nearly a museum piece.. 🙁 I'd love to have them complete, but it's not in the budget right now.
Ok. I'm going to sit on the offer for the cabs until the end of the week. If the speakers with or without the cabs don't move by Friday, I'm going to list them on other sites. I want to give everyone on this site first dibs since they have been very helpful.
sorry Shoreguy i'm out, thanks for the consideration though, the wife put the brakes on that idea!
they should sell easily, i know missing out on this is going to nag at me...

I wonder if Audiogone would be a good place to sell these? I've bought and sold there with good results. Much less of a DIY crowd than here, so you might find a better market.
audio asylum has a classified section and many vintage listings, without the high-end hoohaa of audiogone.
