for R-cores

I m trying to find R-core transformers in the net I looked at Kitamura,custommagnetics,lenco, electro assemblies.
But does anyone knows what these are because my German are not that good:

I've not found any place that looks like they well
sell to us hobby types who want to buy just one
or a few. If there is some outfit, I'd sure like
to know who they are.

I sent a e-mail to this German site [its r-core@r-core.de] and got an answer that they can sell me one R-core (for the psu I m building for a Krell preamp)And now I asked them who makes this R-cores at their site.I reckon they are superior to toroids.BTW I got no answer from Kitamura Kiden🙁

Hi!

I've already bought an r-core transformator from the German site you
mentioned. They definitely sell them to private customers, and even not so much more expensive than high end toroids (shielded, encapsulated). I also buy my BHC SlitFoil caps from them. But I don't know about delivery to foreign countries.

I like them very much, no mechanical hum, very good stability etc. I use it for a mono LCAudio The End Millenium amp, with the supplementary voltage of the r-core directly connected to the driver transistors (filtered by 8*1200 uF Panasonic FC)...

They told me that its no problem mailing the R-core to Greece,so i ll propably buy from them🙂 .The R-core you got from them is german made?
