Fmmt618 replacement

Can i use the MMBTA42 as a replacement for the fmmt618 it is for buffer transistors for the power aupply section

The current rating for the 618 is much higher. Does the supply look like it needs excessive driver current for the FETs?

It must drive 6 fets

This is like pulling teeth to try to get information. What are the FETs? Gate resistors? Photo?

Gate resistors are 47 ohms fets are irf 3205 and i cant take any photos its again loadshedding so no electricity to turn on any lights

Probably but only if you can't get anything better.

The PNP drivers generally fail, not the NPN. What are you using for the PNP?

But the originals that is in are the 618 and the 718

The same applies. If you cannot get better, the MMBTA42/92 should work. If the original NPN survived, reuse them.
